Story 09 in :42

Had the opportunity to attend Story last week. Got to meet some great people. See some old friends and put faces to twitter’ers… and be inspired about the Bible as God’s inspired “meta-narrative”. Some highlight questions for me.

• Are you reading the Bible for information so you can argue or so you will be transformed?
• My junk will come out.
• I need to live a better story.
• Conflict will go on ( ever had a bad day after becoming a Christian?)
• Inspiration and Imagination have the possibility to transform further & faster than information and proposition.
• God gives you gifts that won’t go away.
• The Cross tells the story in a way that creation never could.
• Know who you are/Who you are called to.
• The minute someone else becomes more passionate about the vision and mission than me, it’s over. ( and vice versa)
• Your team has the DNA of what you as the leader have become.
